4-Day Hard Seltzer Kit – Passionfruit

With the 4-Day Hard Seltzer Kit you make your own hard seltzer at home, quickly and easily. Hard seltzer is a light, refreshing drink of carbonated water, alcohol and flavouring. The kit follows the same method recommended by Omega Yeast in the USA and makes 19 litres of hard seltzer with passion fruit flavour at 5.8% ABV.

Contents

  • 2 kg dextrose, the sugar the yeast ferments
  • Omega Yeast Dried Lutra Kveik, for a fast, clean fermentation in 3–4 days at 30 °C
  • Propper Seltzer yeast nutrient for good fermentation conditions
  • Passion fruit flavour flavouring

All you need to add is water. With Lutra Kveik the seltzer can be ready in as little as 4 days. Follow the instructions supplied with the kit.

Carbonation

  • For bottles you need sugar for a priming solution or carbonation drops. These are sold separately.
  • For kegs we recommend a fining agent, for example two-stage fining with Super-Kleer K.C., for a clear result.

If you need equipment to get started, we recommend the affordable Startsett Basic.
