WLP002 English Ale Yeast - PurePitch Next Generation
This is a classic ESB strain from one of England's largest independent breweries. Although traditionally used for English-style beers, including mild, bitter, porter, and stout, it is also ideal for American-style pale ale and IPA. The residual sweetness highlights malt characteristics along with mild fruity esters, adding complexity to the flavor and aroma of the finished beer. Low diacetyl production is common. Due to this strain's high flocculation, the beer will be clear and the yeast can be easily harvested for future use. It is common for this yeast to appear coagulated.
