WLP013 London Ale Yeast – PurePitch Next Generation 70 ml
WLP013 London Ale Yeast from White Labs is a liquid ale yeast with an oaky ester character. It suits classic British styles such as pale ale and bitter, and dark, malty beers such as brown ale and porter. Medium flocculation gives up to 75% attenuation and a dry beer, while the yeast brings out malt complexity and hop bitterness. If you like WLP001 California Ale Yeast, WLP013 is an alternative with more character.

PurePitch Next Generation contains twice as much yeast in a convenient 70 ml pack. It pitches 7.5 million cells per ml and is recommended for 20 litres of standard ale with an OG below 1.074 and a fermentation temperature above 16 °C, without a starter. Just twist off the top and pour the yeast straight into the wort.
