Keg King – Apollo pressure fermenters, kegerators and Ultratap taps
Keg King, also known as MCH Australia, makes equipment for homebrewers who want to ferment, carbonate and serve under pressure. Here you will find Apollo pressure fermenters and unitanks made in Springvale, Australia, the Fermenter King Junior, the KegMaster XL kegerator, FasTap font kits, Ultratap taps, the Spundy spunding valve and spare parts for all of it.
Apollo pressure fermenters and unitanks
Apollo tanks are blow-moulded in PET and pressure tested at 5 bar at the factory in Australia. They withstand up to 8 bar and are rated for use up to 2.4 bar. With an Apollo you can ferment under pressure, dry hop through the port in the lid, carbonate in the tank and transfer to kegs, bottles or cans without oxygen pickup. You can also serve straight from the tank.
Apollo Snub Nose 30 and 60 litres – pressure fermenter with a closed bottom.
Apollo Unitank 30 and 60 litres – with a collection bottle at the bottom, so you can harvest yeast and clarify in the same tank. Supplied with relief valves for pressure fermentation at 0.7 and 1 bar.
Apollo Titan 30 litres – stainless steel with three tri-clamp ports, and can be cleaned with heat.
Fermenter King Junior 10 and 20 litres – compact pressure fermenter and keg in clear PET.
Kegerator, font kits and taps
The KegMaster XL holds four 19-litre kegs and comes with an air-cooled tower with two, three or four Ultratap taps and an MKX CO2 regulator. To build your own, the FasTap Font Kit has a 304 stainless tower with Ultratap taps, lines and ball lock disconnects, ready for a kegerator, keezer or bar counter.
Ultratap comes with steel, black and gold handles, and as the Ultratap Twist, where you control flow by twisting the handle. You will also find the Intertap Flow Master, stout, growler and ball lock spouts and seal kits.
Pressure control and accessories
Spundy fits the ball lock gas post on a keg or tank and holds the set pressure during fermentation and transfers. Relief valves are available for 0.7, 1 and 2.4 bar. The KegMaster KS1 KegScale weighs a keg or CO2 cylinder and shows the contents in an app via Bluetooth. There are also insulation jackets, cooling coils, a thermowell, wheels, lids and O-rings for the tanks.
