Brewery equipment – brewhouses, fermenters and cooling for microbreweries
Here microbreweries, brew pubs, cideries and kombucha producers will find professional brewery equipment: brewhouses from 100 to over 3,000 litres, unitanks, pressure tanks and brite tanks, glycol chillers, malt mills and CIP systems. The equipment comes from Speidel, Brewtools, PMG, EnoBeer, L-Inox, Quantor, Sommer, Easybräu-Velo and Brewiks. Most larger units are made to order with price on request.
Please note: The professional range is only available in Norway.
How to plan your brewery equipment
- Batch size: The brewhouse sets how much wort you make per brew. Fermenters should have at least the same working volume, ideally a multiple, so one brew fills one tank.
- Pressure: To carbonate in the tank you need pressure tanks. The Brewtools Unitank and Brite are rated for 2 bar, the PMG Unitank has a 2 bar working pressure, and the EnoBeer FCTB60 and L-Inox tanks from 650 litres are built for 3 bar.
- Cooling: Jacketed tanks connect to a glycol chiller. The Quantor Chilly 25 M-LT, for example, is rated for up to 4 tanks of 500 litres, with one on cold crash.
- Power and space: The Brewtools B100 and B180 run on two 230 V circuits, while most larger brewhouses need 400 V. Compact monoblock brewhouses and mobile systems on wheels save space.
- Milling and cleaning: A Sommer Maltman 150 mills 150–200 kg of malt per hour. CIP systems from EnoBeer and PMG make cleaning tanks and brewhouses more efficient.

Frequently asked questions about brewery equipment
What do I need to start a microbrewery?
You need a brewhouse, jacketed fermenters, a glycol chiller with temperature control, cleaning equipment and a way to package into kegs, bottles or cans. Without your own brewhouse you can start with the Brewtools F150 Unitank and wort from fresh wort kits.
What is the difference between a unitank and a brite tank?
A unitank is a conical tank where you can ferment, clarify and carbonate in the same vessel. A brite tank is for conditioning, carbonating and serving finished beer.
Why are many products priced on request?
Brewhouses and large tanks are configured to the brewery's needs and often ship directly from the manufacturer. The range shown is also only part of what the manufacturers can supply. Contact us for a quote, including equipment for cider, kombucha, wine and spirits.
